Works of Miriam Jaskierowicz Arman

Through color, form, and imagination, Miriam’s art explores memory, identity, spirituality, and the human experience.

Each work becomes a meeting place between the visible and the invisible, between personal history and universal emotion.

For Miriam Jaskierowicz Arman, art is not simply an act of creation. It is a search.

Her paintings emerge from memory, lived experience, spiritual reflection, and an ongoing dialogue with the world around her.

Faces, figures, colors, symbols, and fragmented forms come together to reveal layers of emotion and meaning, inviting the viewer to look beyond the surface and enter the inner landscape of the work.

THE ARTIST

MJA-foto (32)_edited.png

Miriam Jaskierowicz Arman is an internationally exhibited fine artist whose work has been presented in galleries, museums and private collections across the United States, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Hungary, Ukraine, Uruguay and Israel.

Her artistic practice embraces mixed media, painting, pastel, drawing and glass, including Three-Dimensional Glass Fusion, an innovative technique developed by the artist. Her distinctive use of color, texture and layered forms has received international critical recognition, as well as grants for innovative artistic creation.

Born in post-war Germany to Holocaust-survivor parents, Miriam’s artistic language is deeply rooted in memory, identity, spirituality and the human experience. Faces and human forms recur throughout her work, often emerging through multiple layers of color and material as expressions of memory, suffering, resilience and hope.

Following the loss of her beloved daughter, Aviva Tikva, Miriam withdrew from her artistic career for many years. Yet a promise made to her daughter, never to stop sharing her art with the world, continued to draw her back to creation and exhibition.

After many years abroad, Miriam returned to Israel and to an active artistic life. In September 2026, her work returns to Jerusalem in an exhibition at the Jerusalem Theatre, marking another chapter in a creative journey that has crossed countries, disciplines and decades.

Today, her art continues to reflect a lifelong search for meaning, transforming personal memory and experience into a visual language intended to be shared with others.
