Miriam Jaskierowicz Arman is an internationally renowned vocal pedagogue, author, poet, artist, lecturer, and second-generation Holocaust witness. Born in post-war Germany to survivors of Auschwitz and Bergen-Belsen, her life and work have been profoundly shaped by memory, voice, identity, faith, and the enduring spiritual resilience of the Jewish people.

Recognized internationally for her pioneering work in vocal pedagogy and artistic expression, she is the creator of “The Voice: Giro Vocal Motion Technique™” and author of The Voice: Giro Vocal Motion Technique - The Ultimate Manual of Bel Canto, Definitive Edition 2024/25. Her work explores the spiritual and historical foundations of voice and communication, particularly the vocal traditions connected to the Levites of the Second Temple in Jerusalem, which she identifies as foundational to the principles of Bel Canto.

Her first major pedagogical work, A Spiritual Approach to Singing, Speaking and Communicating, was introduced internationally in 1999 and has since evolved into multiple expanded editions in English, Italian, and German.

​

Alongside her pedagogical career, Miriam Jaskierowicz Arman has developed an extensive body of literary and artistic work. Her poetry, written in both English and Italian, has received numerous international awards and recognitions. Her bilingual collection L’Urlo dell’Anima - Scream of the Soul received the prestigious Switzerland Literary Prize and was later released as an audiobook by Aletti Editore. In 2025, Aletti also produced the documentary A Day with Miriam Jaskierowicz Arman, dedicated to her artistic and literary life.

From 2018 to 2025, she directed The Academy for the Development of the Voice, Torah and Kabbalah in Reggio Calabria, Italy, where she combined vocal instruction, spiritual studies, artistic expression, and intercultural dialogue. Between 2020 and 2025, she also organized the Italian National Poetry Competition for the Shoah and Peace - Remember and Never Forget, which inspired hundreds of participants, schools, and institutions throughout Italy to reflect on the Shoah, memory, and peace through poetry and artistic expression. Five books titled Solo le Farfalle Sono Libere were published to mark these extraordinary events.

Her visual art has likewise received international recognition, including personal exhibitions in Reggio Calabria at the Castello Aragonese, the archaeological site Ipogeo, and Galleria Ristorante Accademia. Her artwork was also featured in the Mondadori publication Arte in Cucina.

​

Throughout her career, she has lectured, taught, and conducted masterclasses internationally in the United States, Israel, Italy, Germany, Hungary, Ukraine, Uruguay, and elsewhere. Her conferences, interviews, artistic projects, and educational programs continue to focus on voice, memory, spirituality, Jewish identity, healing, and human dignity.

Her philanthropic work, interreligious and intercultural dialogue initiatives, and Torah teachings have formed an essential part of her public mission. From 2021 to 2026, she served as Ambassador for Peace for the Universal Peace Federation Italy, and since July 2024 she has served as Honorary President of the Italian Jewish Cultural Institute (ICEI).

In July 2025, following the rise of antisemitism in Europe after October 7, Miriam Jaskierowicz Arman permanently returned to Israel, where she now resides in Tiberias.
